In a painting on raw cotton using acrylic paint, the Queen of Kandy sits with her legs crossed. She wears South Indian jewellery and shell-like ornaments around her neck. Unlike typical Indian portraits, she has a gentle face with rounded features. The artist, inspired by William Daniell's 1800s portrait, included details of local Kandyan and low country jewellery. Her graceful figure and demeanour were captured in the original sketch, a copy of which is displayed at the national museum.

Next to a portrait of King Sri Wickramarajasinghe at the Colombo National Museum hangs a painting of his chief queen, Queen Venkata Rangammal. Some of her belongings are on display, including a jacket stained with blood, which is especially moving.

කකුලක් මත කකුලක් තබා අසුන් ගෙන සිටින මහනුවර රැජිනගේ මෙම සිතුවම අක්‍රලික් තීන්ත භාවිතා කර අමු කපු රෙද්දක් මත සිතුවම් කර ඇත. මෙහි ඇය ගෙල වටා දකුණු ඉන්දීය සහ මූහුදු බෙලි කටු වැනි ආභරණ පැළඳ සිටී. සාමාන්‍ය ඉන්දියානු චිත්‍ර මෙන් නොව, ඇගේ මුහුණ වටකුරු ලක්ෂණ සහිත මෘදු මුහුණක් ලෙස රූපයට නගා ඇත. විලියම් ඩැනියෙල්ගේ 1800 කාල වකවානුවේ චිත්‍ර වලින් ආභාෂය ලැබූ මෙම කලාකරුවා, දේශීය උඩරට සහ පහතරට ආභරණ මෙම සිතුවමේ ඇතුළත් කර ඇත. ඇගේ රමණීය රූපය සහ හැඩරුව මුල් කටු සටහනේ සිතුවම් කර ඇති අතර එහි පිටපතක් ජාතික කෞතුකාගාරයේ ප්‍රදර්ශනය කර ඇත. කොළඹ ජාතික කෞතුකාගාරයේ ශ්‍රී වික්‍රමරාජසිංහ රජුගේ රුව අසල ඔහුගේ අග බිසව වන වෙන්කට රංගම්මල් රැජිනගේ සිතුවමක් ප්‍රදර්ශනය කර තිබේ. මෙහි රුධිර පැල්ලම් සහිත හැට්ටයක් ඇතුළුව ඇයගේ තවත් බඩු බාහිරාදිය ද ප්‍රදර්ශනය කර තිබේ.
